ROBINSON SET FOR TRANMERE RETURN

Midfielder departs in loan move...

Celebrating the opener against Darlington

Andy Robinson is set to return to Tranmere Rovers in a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old joins the Wirral outfit after making just one start in a Leeds shirt this season.

Robbo's only appearance in the Leeds starting line-up came against Darlington in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy - when he scored his only goal of the campaign - and this term he has made just nine appearances.

In total, Robinson has scored seven goals in 50 appearances for the club since joining from Swansea City in the summer of 2008.

The Scouser started his career at Prenton Park, but after failing to make an appearance in the first team, he moved into non-league football before returning to the professional game with Swansea and then Leeds.
