What are the responsibilities?

Support the Social Media Manager in the day-to-day management of Leeds United’s social media channels across Meta, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, whilst keeping an eye on emerging platforms.

Plan, create and publish platform-first content that increases differentiation between accounts and ensures each channel serves its specific audience and purpose.

Share matchday responsibilities across Men’s, Academy and Women’s fixtures, delivering timely, accurate and engaging live coverage and post-match content.

Support the operation of the Elland Road social media account, ensuring stadium events, matchday information and key moments are promoted effectively across all platforms.

Work closely with internal teams, commercial partners, the Premier League and external collaborators to deliver integrated campaigns, activations and content that meet brand and partner objectives

Provide support to our international agency, collaborating to develop and deliver geo-targeted content strategies that support audience growth and engagement in new and priority markets.

Monitor platform performance and audience behaviour, using insights to inform content decisions, improve engagement and optimise output across channels.

Stay up to date with platform trends, emerging formats and best practice, proactively identifying opportunities to innovate and evolve Leeds United’s social media presence.

Ensure all content adheres to Leeds United brand guidelines, tone of voice and safeguarding requirements, while always maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Provide operational support around scheduling, publishing, community management and real-time content during peak periods, including evenings and weekends.

Work with Editorial Lead to maximise the reach of news and editorial content, with specific focus on driving traffic to Club owned platforms – website, app, etc.

Collaborate with the in-house video and graphic teams to create industry leading digital content in line with the Club’s brand framework and tone of voice.

Essential

Demonstrated experience in creating successful social media content

Experience and excellent knowledge of all major social media platforms and the ability to adapt quickly to changes in how they operate

Proficient use of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Instagram Edits, Capcut, with experience of using After Effects desirable.

Passion, knowledge and interest in football

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Safety Officer to join our Matchday Safety and Security team. This role will report to and support the Safety Officer in planning and delivering the highest standards of matchday safety for all matches and events at Elland Road. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the Safety Certificate, relevant legislation, and the Club’s own safety policy. From matchdays to major events, you’ll be driving our safety culture, planning, coordinating and delivering robust safety operations that protect, fans, staff and players alike.

What are the responsibilities?

Perform the role of Deputy Safety Officer as outlined in the Green/Purple Guide – Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds/Guide to Safety at Music & Other Events

Be fully familiar with the matchday commitments of the Safety Officer and deputise in their absence (subject to Safety Advisory Group approval).

  • Support the Safety Officer with the planning, implementation and monitoring of all matches and events at Elland Road Stadium, to ensure the management and operation of those events is fully compliant with all of the requirements of the Safety Certificate, legislation and with the guidelines set down by the Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA).

Prepare and complete all necessary documentation, eg. Match Day Briefings, risk assessments, intelligence reports, match reports, and other match-related documentation.

  • Working with all internal stakeholders to deliver a safe and inclusive matchday experience that reinforces the Club’s values and culture.

  • Support the Stewarding Staffing Manager with the processes of recruitment, training, development and motivation of staff working within the match day safety & security team, whilst ensuring compliance with club policies on Spectator Safety, Health and Safety,

    relevant legislation and industry best practice.

  • Work closely with the Safety Officer to draft deployment plans to ensure the appropriate positioning of stewards and other personnel on matchdays to ensure the numbers of staff and allocation complies with the Safety Certificate.

  • Carry out relevant checks and assessments as required by the SGSA Green Guide, of physical infrastructure relating to matchday operations, ensuring the stadium is fit for purpose and fully compliant with all Health & Safety legislation for the staging of all events on the premises, in accordance with the General Safety Certificate.

  • Liaise where necessary with the local Safety Advisory Group (SAG) and relevant officers from Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Police, Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Sports Ground Safety Authority, the Premier League and other partner organisations in relation to the organisation and management of all matches and events to ensure they meet a consistently high standard. Attend relevant meetings as required.

  • Assist with the hosting of pre-match and post-match debriefs, the production of associated documents and the review of post-match reports, actioning any matters to be addressed.

  • Assist with the implementation of the Spectator Disciplinary policy, including the investigation of matchday incidents and taking the appropriate action to either warn or suspend spectators; drafting correspondence to spectators receiving club bans and liaising closely with police for any matters that involve an offence; chairing behaviour agreement meetings and managing the disciplinary register.

  • Review operations manuals, polices, procedures and documents relating to matchday operations and security, updating as necessary.

Adhere to the legislative requirements prescribed under the General Safety Certificate for the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975 as amended 1987 and Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sports Act 1987.

To support our stadium’s redevelopment and expansion plans, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Travel Plan Co-Ordinator to join our growing Matchday Operations team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a cultural shift towards sustainable travel and improve the experience for thousands of visitors at Elland Road Stadium.

Reporting to the Head of Matchday Operations, the Travel Plan Co-Ordinator will lead on the implementation and day-to-day management of the Club’s Travel Co-Ordinator, ensuring a smooth and sustainable travel experience for fans, staff, and visitors. The role will oversee all aspects of travel planning for all events at Elland Road stadium, combining strategic planning, operational delivery and data analysis, with a strong focus on promoting sustainable travel alternatives. What are the responsibilities?

This role is central to delivering the Club’s proactive Travel Plan and ensuring smooth, sustainable travel for all stadium events.   • As one of our Coaches you will be helping to provide children with opportunities to take part in

    physical activities and a variety of other health related workshops.

  • Session planning relating to healthy schools booklets

We are seeking an experienced Youth hub mentor to support a new Youth hub Leeds United Foundation are launching in partnership with DWP. The suitable candidate will have strong networking skills with local partners and employers to achieve the outcomes of the contract.

Key Purpose:

The suitable candidate will be someone with:

• A successful track record of working and supporting people in both 1:1 mentoring and group sessions.

• Experience of supporting customers to improve their CV, interview skills as well as supporting them to overcome barriers to employment.

• Experience of working collaboratively with multi-agency professionals (e.g. health, social care)

• Highly developed influencing skills to persuade learners, parents, colleagues, and external agencies to adopt particular courses of action.

We are seeking 2 individuals who are passionate about supporting young people to develop skills and confidence on their journey to employment.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering the Youth Hub a Leeds United Stadium. The hub will provide opportunities for referred unemployed young people in Leeds to access support, training and skill boosting session to supporting them on their next steps to employment.

Job Overview

About The Role:

As a host at Elland Road, you will be the first point of contact for many of our VIP hospitality guests.
