Leeds United cruised through to the last four of the County Cup with a polished performance away at Harrogate Town Ladies.

It took a while for this quarter final tie to get going, Sandra Soares-Martins had the first opportunity for the Whites firing over from a corner after 15 minutes.

Leeds kept the pressure up with Laura Bartup firing straight at Harrogate goalkeeper Beth Jennings after a brilliant cross from Rebekah Bass.

Kristie Hunt and Cath Hamill both went close, before Soares-Martins gave Leeds the lead cutting in from the left before drilling home a deflected effort.

Bartup then headed straight at Jennings, before Izzy Elliott headed in her first goal for the club from a Sarah Danby corner in stoppage time, to give the Whites a healthy lead.

Half Time: Harrogate Town Ladies 0-2 Leeds United Women

Leeds started the second half on the attack and made it three-nil moments into the second half with Soares-Martins firing in her second of the game from inside the area.

Bartup almost made it four as Leeds kept on the attack but fired just over from the edge of the area.

Leeds finished the job off in the dying minutes and sealed a place in the last four when Bartup headed in from another Sarah Danby corner, to round off a successful away day.
