DEFENDER JOINS ROTHERHAM ON LOAN

Youngster links up with League Two side...

Liam Darville in action against Liverpool

Young defender Liam Darville is set to join Rotherham United on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old spent a week training with the Millers earlier in the campaign and he will now join up with Ronnie Moore's side for the closing weeks of the League Two season.

Rotherham are currently third in the division and Darville, who has yet to make a senior appearance for Leeds United, is relishing the prospect.

"It'll be good to get some games in and hopefully that will stand me in good stead," said Liam.

"It's an added bonus with Rotherham being up there in the league. The spirit will be good and that will make it easier to go in.

"I had a week there earlier in the season so I have met a lot of the lads briefly.

"They seemed a good set of lads and I can't wait to get there."
