USA head coach Gregg Berhalter named his World Cup squad on Thursday night, with Leeds United duo Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams included.

Aaronson has featured in all 13 of Leeds' Premier League games this season, scoring the opener in our 3-0 win over Chelsea. The winger has 24 caps to his name, contributing six goals and five assists to the national team.

Adams has impressed during his start to life at Leeds, picking up three Player of the Match awards against Chelsea, Everton and Aston Villa in 12 games for the Whites. The defensive midfielder has featured 32 times for the US national team, captaining them eight times and scoring once in a 1-0 win over Mexico.

The USA will kick off their World Cup campaign against Wales on Monday 21st November at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan, before facing one of the tournament favourites England on Friday 25th November at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.

They will then wrap up the group stage against Iran on Tuesday 29th November at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.
