Marcelo Bielsa: We believe more than ever in ourselves

Head coach speaks to the media.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Nottingham Forest.

The Whites head to the City Ground looking to bounce back from defeat against Wigan last weekend.

Bielsa spoke about the belief within the squad and the support of the team, admitting he wishes every game could be played on home soil.

“Every match is important,” said Bielsa.

“We will play with opponents who are close to us in the table and this has another value.

“If we add points, it is always going to be important, but it doesn’t matter who the opponents are.

“For us, playing away is not something good for us, because if you think it is better to play away from home, it means playing at home is uncomfortable for us and it is not like that.

“We believe more than ever in ourselves and we wish we could always play at Elland Road because our supporters never damage our team.

“If supporters lose faith in the team, as a team we have to recover the confidence we have lost or don't have now.

“We need the confidence of the supporters and if we don’t deserve this confidence, we need to try and recover it.

“We won’t give up or not trust in ourselves, because we deserve to keep the trust in ourselves.

“Most of the matches we have lost has meant that people don’t trust more in our team and we are forced to analyse negative things, take conclusions and see what we need to correct.

“There is no doubt we are doing this job, we know perfectly what is the problem and what is the solution to solve these problems.”
