Barry Douglas injury update

Barry Douglas injury update

Defender ruled out for rest of the season.

Leeds United defender Barry Douglas ruptured the medial ligament in his knee during Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship win against Millwall at Elland Road.

Douglas managed to battle through until the final whistle, however scans have confirmed the injury, which will see the Scottish international sidelined for between two and three months, ending his season.

Douglas, who has featured 27 times during his debut campaign for the Whites, laid on the vital equaliser for Luke Ayling at the weekend, which was his fifth assist of the season.
