An exciting job opportunity has arisen at Leeds United FC for a Security Guard based at our training ground, Thorp Arch, Wetherby.

The ideal candidate would be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of assets and employees on the premises at our Training Ground based in Thorp Arch are safe at all times and  to patrol the perimeter of the  premises to ensure that everything is secure and there are no signs of intruders

Some of the main duties would include:

• Always meet and greet all staff and visitors to the site, checking they have valid ID and who they are meeting.  This does not apply to players.

• Ensure all cars are parked safely and with respect to other carpark users.  Communicate with staff on gate to ensure no cars enter once the carpark is full.

• Patrolling and securing the area around premises to investigate signs of intrusion, and feedback any maintenance issues to Facilities Coordinator

• Responding to alarms and emergencies

• Contact police or fire department in an emergency

• Ensure all visitors to the site go directly to reception where they must be signed in.

• Writes daily activity reports; provides them to employer on request

• Monitor the whole site and notify the Police of any criminal activity

• Remind  people of rule infractions, restrictions or procedures when entering premises

• Provides valuable feedback to management about the security of a business

• Screen individuals as they arrive on the premises

 Inspects all points of entry to make sure they are secure

• Stays in contact with other security personnel to make sure the premises are secure at all times

• Monitoring and analysing CCTV camera footage.

• Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues

• Keeping incident reports and submitting them to the Facilities coordinator, with photos if appropriate

• Follow the guidelines in the staff handbook and security plan.

• Escorting/directing visitors/contractors/suppliers or clients around the premises.

• Ensuring compliance with government regulations

 

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Previous experience as a static Guard

• Police training

• Man Guarding qualification

• Previous security training, for site security
