BREMNER SQUARE LAUNCHED

BREMNER SQUARE LAUNCHED

Be part of our history and future.

Leeds United can today announce a unique redevelopment around the Billy Bremner statue at Elland Road.

The club recongnises how symbolic the Bremner statue is with supporters and over the coming months, we can reveal the area around the statue will be re-developed to become Bremner Square, as part of a new look, landscaped area.

The Bremner Square project looks to celebrate the history of the club, players, managers and our supporters from far and wide.

Billy Bremner is the club’s most successful captain, having led the side to two First Division titles, along with lifting the FA Cup and League Cup and twice the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, with his statue standing proudly at the forefront of our stadium.

The redevelopment of the immediate area around the iconic statue will also feature dedicated stones for ten further Leeds United legends who, along with Billy, will form the Bremner Square XI.

Over the next few days we will announce a short list of players and we will give our fans the opportunity to select the ten legends to be awarded a place in the XI.

The full team will be announced at a gala dinner in the Gowing Law Centenary Pavilion in early 2018.

As part of the project, supporters will have the opportunity to etch names and messages around the statue, by purchasing an engraved stone that will form part of the beautiful area dedicated to the history and supporters of Leeds United.

A stone can also be purchased as a gift and is the perfect present for any Leeds United supporter and your personalised message will be part of Elland Road for future years to come.

You can purchase your very own, personalised engraved stone from today with prices starting at £60.00 including VAT.

The first 100 fans to buy a stone will be entered in to a draw to win two VIP tickets for the Bremner Square XI Gala Dinner.
