U21s in Round of 16 action.

Leeds United Under-21s head south for their Premier League Cup Round of 16 clash with AFC Bournemouth Under-21s this Friday.

Scott Gardner’s side go into the tie on the back of an impressive group stage campaign which saw the Whites finish second in Group D behind leaders Chelsea.

United completed the double over Colchester United and Luton Town, with goals from Sonny Perkins and Charlie Allen sealing a 2-0 victory over the Hatters earlier in the week.

Bournemouth meanwhile topped Group C with five wins from six matches, rounding off their campaign with a narrow win over Norwich City courtesy of Balraj Landa’s goal.

In league action, a well-deserved draw away at Arsenal last time out leaves the Whites sitting 21st in the Premier League 2 table, with games in hand on the teams round them heading into the second half of the campaign.

The Cherries meanwhile sit fourth in the Professional Development League South's standings, one point behind leaders Queens Park Rangers and with a game in hand on the West London outfit.

Action from Eastleigh FC's Silverlake Stadium gets underway at 7pm.
