Leeds United claimed a Premier League double on Saturday before emerging as runners-up in the Emirates Airlines Dubai Sevens.

A Leeds United representative side overcame both Blackburn Rovers and Arsenal to progress to the final of the prestigious invitation tournament.

A Liam Darville goal was enough to beat Blackburn while Will Hatfield was on the scoresheet as United overcame the Gunners.

Reaching the final was a great achievement for the young United side, who had beaten Celtic on Friday, but Greek side Olympiacos proved too strong in the final and they ran out 2-0 winners.

Under-18s coach Neil Redfearn said the tournament had been a "great experience" and that he was "proud of the players."
