Team news: Daniel Farke names XI to face Sunderland

Starting line-up announced at Elland Road.

Leeds United are back at Elland Road this evening as they face Sunderland for the midweek fixture in the Sky Bet Championship

Daniel Farke has opted for the same starting line-up following our game away from home against Coventry City.

Illan Meslier remains in net for the match, whilst captain Ethan Ampadu is joined by Joe Rodon in the centre of defence with Junior Firpo and Archie Gray making up the rest of our backline.

Ilia Gruev links up with Glen Kamara in our midfield and featuring in the Leeds United attack Dan James plays alongside Crysencio Summerville, Georginio Rutter and Patrick Bamford.

Our substitutes bench tonight features Liam Cooper, Jaidon Anthony, Joel Piroe, Willy Gnonto, Charlie Cresswell, Connor Roberts, Mateo Joseph, Sam Byram and goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
