Hull City: Match officials announced

Appointments made for Monday's fixture.

The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Hull City have been confirmed, with Josh Smith set to take charge at Elland Road.

The match will be Smith's 32nd of a busy campaign so far, which has seen the official be in the middle for Premier League, Championship, League One, FA Cup and Carabao Cup fixtures.

The Whites have a mixed record from just the four games Smith has been involved in to date, winning two, drawing one and losing one.

The Peterborough-based official first oversaw United’s 3-1 FA Cup success away at Accrington Stanley last campaign, before officiating this season’s curtain raiser at home to Cardiff City.

Smith then refereed the Whites' 2-1 home victory over Plymouth Argyle, before most recently being in the middle for our Boxing Day defeat away at Preston North End.

Whilst yet to referee a Hull City fixture this term, Smith has officiated six games involving the Tigers in previous years, with the East Yorkshire outfit picking up three wins, one draw and two defeats in that time.

Last time out, Smith took charge of a crucial clash in the fight for Championship survival at Loftus Road, where hosts QPR scored late on to edge past Birmingham City.
