Watford: Match officials announced

Appointments made for Friday's fixture.

The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Watford have been confirmed, with David Webb set to take charge at Vicarage Road.

Since being appointed as an EFL referee in 2008, the Durham-based official has gone on to take charge of over 500 professional matches, notably overseeing the 2017/18 League Two Play-Off Final between Coventry City and Exeter City.

Webb has been in the middle for three Whites fixtures so far this term, starting with October's 1-0 home win over QPR.

In January, Webb awarded United a late spot-kick which Joel Piroe converted to hand us victory over Preston at North End. Last time out, he took charge of the resounding 4-0 success away at Swansea City.

In the 12 games officiated by Webb, Leeds have won seven and lost just twice, dating back to a 2010 League One clash with Wycombe Wanderers.

The Hornets' have found form harder to come by historically when Webb has been in the middle, winning just four times in 13 and drawing six.
