Norwich City: Match officials appointed

Appointments made for Wednesday's fixture.

The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Norwich City on Wednesday have been announced, with Matthew Donohue set to be the man in the middle.

This is the fifth season the Southend born and now Greater Manchester based official has been a referee in the second tier, having been promoted to the Select Group 2 list of referees ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Wednesday's match will be the second time Donohue has taken charge of a Leeds United fixture, having last refereed the Whites back in August, overseeing the 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion at Elland Road. In that match he issued four yellow cards to Leeds players.

He has previously taken charge of two Norwich City fixtures, overseeing a win and a draw, issuing one yellow card to Canaries players.

His last match refereeing Norwich came in December, with the Carrow Road outfit running out 3-1 winners against Sheffield Wednesday.

Donohue's last match officiating was Birmingham City's 2-2 draw with Swansea City on Saturday 13th January, where he issued eight yellow cards.
