Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has been named the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for November.

Guiding Leeds through the month unbeaten, Farke beat off competition for the award from Carlos Corberan (WBA), Russell Martin (Southampton) and Jon Dahl Tomasson (Blackburn) to win the accolade.

Starting with a fine 1-0 win away at table-topping Leicester City, the Whites followed it up with a  2-1 victory over Plymouth at Elland Road.

Following the international break, there was then a 1-1 draw away at Rotherham United, before the month was completed with a 3-1 success home over Swansea City.

Overall Leeds took 10 points out of a possible 12 and the boss has now been recognised with the Manager of the Month award after an impressive run of results.

The sequence saw the Whites close the gap on the top two sides in the division.

Upon winning the award, Farke said: “It’s great to win the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month, but it is a real collective effort.

"I am lucky to have a fantastic backroom staff and a great group of players and I share this award with them, for their hard work and dedication throughout the campaign to date.”
