Georginio Rutter scored and assisted in the win against Millwall on Sunday, to help his side secure three points.

As well as getting on the scoresheet himself, Georgi’s strike partner Joel Piroe netted a double to help Leeds United make it four games unbeaten in the league.

Speaking after the match, Rutter praised the performance from the team, whilst also stating the need to recover well for another two big matches that are coming up in the next few days.

“It’s a good day for the team,” he said.

“Three points today makes more confidence for the team and we are happy.

“Before the game, we knew that when you come here it is difficult to make goals and not concede.

"Today, we won 3-0, so I think it’s a very good performance for the team.

“In these games you need to be clever with your feet. If you are offensive too much, you are tired, you need to make a balance. Today, we played well with this. 

“It’s a busy week now, so we need to make a good recovery.

“We’ll have good nutrition, recovery and treatment for the team, but we are prepared for this.”
