Charlie Cresswell Named in England U21s Squad

Young Lions set for trip to face Luxembourg

Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell retains his place in Lee Carsley's England U21s squad, as they prepare to face Luxembourg.

The Young Lions’ last cohort of players landed the U21 EURO title in July and Carsley has selected a much-changed 23-man squad for the first match of the new qualifying campaign, which takes place on Monday 11 September (5pm BST) at the Stade Municipal de la Ville de Differdange.

Cresswell has played in five of Leeds' six opening games this season, racking up 307 minutes across both the Championship and Carabao Cup.
