Alongside Eberechi Eze, Matheus Pereira, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma, Luke Ayling has been nominated after a spectacular season which included scoring the club's Goal of the Season against Huddersfield.

In nominating Luke for the award, the PFA said:

"Ayling brought both attacking and defensive skill to Leeds United’s promotion push this season and was arguably one of their best players.

For sure, he had one of his best seasons so far in a Whites shirt and will be eager to prove himself in the Premier League."
