Jack Harrison: We were unfortunate at times

Winger on Luton draw.

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison spoke to LUTV following Tuesday’s draw with Luton Town.

The Whites came from behind to pick up a point at Elland Road, but had many chances to win the game.

Harrison was disappointed Leeds couldn’t pick up all three points, but was not disheartened with the performance of the team.

“We had a lot of opportunities to score and try and get that second goal and we were unfortunate at times” said Harrison.

“We have to stay as positive as we can, there were definitely some good things that came out of the game, it’s good that we are creating these chances, we just have to do a better job of capitalising on it as well.

“Luton made it difficult for us, especially in the first half, figuring out their formation and how we were going to press, it took us a bit longer than it probably should have.

“Once we got that sorted, we were able to play our game and create those chances, it was just unfortunate we couldn’t finish them.

“We would have liked to have got the three points and it is frustrating in that aspect, but we have to stay positive, we have a quick turnaround now and we have to be prepared for that.

“I think we have to try and control what we can control and focus on ourselves, we just have to keep taking things game by game.

“Going into every game, we know how important it is, every game is a final and we need to get as many points as we can to get promoted.

“We have to stay focused and not get too carried away with where we are in the table.

“We’re going to look at the tape, analyse the games and see what we can improve on, going into Saturday.”
