PREVIEW: BRISTOL CITY V LEEDS UNITED

PREVIEW: BRISTOL CITY V LEEDS UNITED

We analyse Saturday's clash.

Leeds United travel to Ashton Gate to take on Bristol City on Saturday (3:00pm), knowing a victory could take the Whites back to the top of the Sky Bet Championship table.  Leeds have been somewhat of a bogey team for the Robins over recent years, since 2010 there have been 13 meetings between the two sides with the Whites losing just once and winning on 10 occasions.  Bristol come into the match without a win in their last four games, whilst Leeds are looking to back up the fine 4-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion last time out.

Team news

Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed he will name an unchanged side for the trip to Ashton Gate.  Jack Clarke, Adam Forshaw and Kemar Roofe are once again absent.  Korey Smith is again likely to miss out, whilst goalkeeper Frank Fielding has a fractured hand.  Fellow stopper Niki Maenpaa has a calf strain, so the Robins moved to sign free agent Stefan Marinovic on Thursday and he could be handed a debut.

The key battle

Famara Diedhiou v Pontus Jansson

Striker Diedhiou is City's top scorer this season with 11 goals.  It promises to be a good physical battle between Diedhiou and Leeds defender Pontus Jansson, who will be looking to help the Whites to a second clean sheet in a row.
