Leeds United skipper Liam Cooper spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s trip to The Den.

The Whites head to London, looking to keep their place at the top of the Sky Bet Championship with a positive result.

Cooper is expecting it to be difficult and insists lessons have been learnt from last season’s visit.

“The players are delighted with the start, but we have done nothing yet, we are only six games in and we have to keep going now” said Liam Cooper.

“We are taking things game by game, there are no easy matches in this league and we will be looking to do everything we can to get the win on Saturday.

“I think the experience of last year at Millwall will pull the lads through.

“We have all been abused as footballers and these things happen, but I think we are all professional enough to get over it.

“We will go and play our game, we know what we need to do, and we know it will be hostile, but you don’t worry too much about the crowd when you are on the pitch.

“We have to win our personal battles, we went there in form last year and expected to beat Millwall, but I don’t think anyone in this league goes to Millwall and has an easy game."

Cooper also had his say on former Leeds striker Steve Morison, who ahead of the game said he will "turn up, pull out my Zlatan Ibrahimovic kit, whack that on and take care of it".

Cooper said: “He is an important player, but all that tripe about Ibrahimovic- if that makes him feel better, then so be it.

“We know what we have to do, we know our jobs and the standards we have set ourselves.

“If we reach our standards, we will leave ourselves in good stead to get a positive result.”
