Leeds United have been saddened to learn of the passing of Leeds United Supporters Club Life Vice President, Eric Carlile at the age of 89.

Eric became assistant secretary of the Supporters Club in 1958 at the age of 20, before taking on the secretary role a year later, a position which he would hold until 2008.

Upon announcing his retirement, after 50 years of service to LUSC, Eric was given the title of Life Vice President.

Our condolences go out to Eric’s family and friends at this time and Leeds United will always be grateful for his service to both the club and our supporters.
