Leeds United are showing their support for the annual Inside Out campaign delivered by the If U Care Share Foundation that coincides with World Suicide Prevention Day.

On the 10^th September each year, If U Care Share host their Inside Out campaign which is a day that encourages supporters to wear an item of their clothing inside out, with the aim of sparking conversations around the importance of talking and bringing what’s on the Inside, Out.

The Leeds United Academy have been involved in the annual campaign for the last few years which has included delivering educational workshops with players and staff members and the various age groups wearing their training kits inside out for a training session to mark the occasion.

Once again, the club are showing their support in helping to raise awareness around World Suicide Prevention Day with the help of If U Care Share, to encourage as many people as possible to speak out and ask for help, with some of our first-team players wearing specially designed promotional t-shirts for the 2022 campaign.

World Suicide Prevention Day is an awareness event that is committed to preventing suicides by engaging communities and organisations across the globe and getting them to discuss the topic of mental health.

The If U Care Share Foundation was specifically set up for the following reasons:

- To provide practical and emotional support to those affected by suicide.

- To prevent and reduce the incidence of suicide by raising awareness and providing training.

- To provide individual support for those deemed to be directly at risk of suicide.

Through the power of sport there is the opportunity to communicate with an incredibly large audience, with the campaign having already reached over 15 million people in previous years from the support of football clubs across the country.
