The Leeds United Foundation recently received a generous donation from Arnold Clark to support their Soccer Camp delivery throughout school holidays.

To mark and celebrate their first year in operation on Roseville Road, Arnold Clark linked up with the club’s official charity to show their support for the fantastic work being done by donating £5,000 to help with the running of their sports activities, education programmes and health services.

With the support of Arnold Clark, the Foundation’s Soccer Camps saw over 400 young people participating in a number of sessions over the October half-term, with each participant receiving a free t-shirt and certificate for taking part.

The partnership also contributed to 20 youngsters, accompanied by a parent or guardian, attending a Leeds United home match with the children able to experience the incredible atmosphere at Elland Road whilst watching their heroes live in action. The young people were chosen at random from the list of those who had attended the October Soccer Camps, with hundreds of children in with the chance.

A massive thank you to Arnold Clark for their huge donation and the contribution it has made in enabling the Foundation to create opportunities for people in the local community to take part in sports activities.
