Under-23s support Christmas light switch on

Christmas lights turned on at Leeds Children's Hospital.

The Leeds United Under-23 squad were on hand at Leeds Children's Hospital on Monday evening (2nd December) to help switch on their Christmas lights.

Joined by Leeds United supporter and IBF featherweight champion, Josh Warrington, there were 17 members from the Under-23 team there to support the event and switch on the Christmas lights located outside the Clarendon Wing entrance.

Invited to attend by the club's official charity, Children's Heart Surgery Fund, the team spent time meeting and chatting with patients, other charities involved with the event and special guests visiting the local hospital, having photos taken and signing autographs.

Jordan Stevens, Leeds United midfielder, commented: "It's been great for us to come down here tonight, so many of us together, to be a part of their annual Christmas event.

"The work the staff do here for all of the patients is incredible so if we can come down to support them and help put some smiles on the kids and families faces then that's all that matters."

Those in attendance included; Leif Davis, Robbie Gotts, Jordan Stevens, Alfie McCalmont, Kamil Miazek, Mateusz Bogusz, Ryan Edmondson, Pascal Truijk, Will Huffer, Bryce Hosannah, Guille Amor, Liam McCarron, Matthew Downing, Theo Hudson, Joe Stanley, Niall Huggins and Oliver Casey.
