Details around SAB meeting.

Officials from Leeds United Football Club met with the club’s Supporter Advisory Board this week to discuss various topics, including the club’s search for a new head coach.

The groups included disabled supporters, Marching Out Together, Leeds United Supporters Club and finally the Leeds United Supporters Trust who were unable to attend in person, instead joining via Zoom. The Supporter Advisory Board has been operational for over a year and one of the agreements made in the meeting was to publish an article, along with minutes of each meeting within 48 hours of each session. The meetings last 90 minutes and are held once a month at Elland Road.

Various topics were discussed including a voting mechanism to help push decisions through the group, there was an update on Season Tickets and Memberships, as well as the creation of a new SAB exclusively for disabled supporters and the club’s plans to support Ramadan in the local community.

Chief Executive Angus Kinnear answered questions and explained the process behind the club’s appointment of a new head coach. Angus spoke openly about the difficulties the club faced when making a change at this time of year, and he explained why it took the club two weeks to announce an agreement in principle with Javi Gracia.
