Leeds United seek host families for Academy players

Provide young players with a safe and comfortable ‘home from home’

Leeds United are seeking host families who can provide accommodation for Academy aged players.

As a host family, you will provide our young players with a safe and comfortable ‘home from home’, for them to live and study in around their training schedule.

Located ideally within a 5-mile radius of Wetherby, West Yorkshire, lodgings should offer good quality accommodation, preferably in a family environment.

Other requirements are the provision of a daily nutritionally balanced evening meal, occasional lunches, access to laundry facilities and wireless internet.

Full and part-time residential accommodation will be required over 10 months of the year to reflect the football season. Temporary accommodation providers are also required for trialist and respite care provision.

We are looking for host families who can accommodate a minimum of two players at a time in separate rooms. The willingness to accommodate players on a short-term basis throughout the season is also desirable.

If you think you are the kind of family who can work with us to play a key role in the development of our young players, then we would like to hear from you.

To arrange an informal discussion about being a host family, the application process and rates of remuneration, please contact the Academy via email at katie.slee@leedsunited.com.
