IN MEMORIAM

There are several ways however that the club and / or fans can honour those we lose ‘In Memorium’.

In Memoriam

At Leeds United, we recognise that many people spend a lifetime supporting the Club. In recognition of this support, the club offers a number of opportunities for families and friends to remember their loved ones at Elland Road. We also recognise the contributions made by those that have represented the club as players, managers or employees.

There are several ways however that the club and / or fans can honour those we lose ‘In Memorium’.

SCATTERING OF ASHES

Regrettably, the club is unable to accept requests for the scattering of ashes. We no longer have areas of Elland Road that are suitable for ashes to remain, and we would not want to scatter ashes in locations that would not be fitting or appropriate.

FLORAL TRIBUTES

Supporters can leave floral tributes for loved ones who have passed at the Billy Bremner statue at Bremner Square.

SPECIAL DEDICATIONS

You can make a dedication on our ‘Notice Board’ page in the matchday programme. Inclusion in the Noticeboard is free but on a first-come, first served basis and inclusion cannot be guaranteed.

Please send in your message, including surnames (and a jpeg, too, if you like – biggest/best quality possible) to noticeboard@me.com, telling us in which issue you would like your message to appear. Ideally, these need to reach us at least eight days before the game as the week of the fixture is almost always too late. Please note also that due to the quantity of emails received we are unable to reply to confirm receipt.

MINUTES APPLAUSE

Each season, at the first and last home game of the season the club hold a minutes applause to celebrate the lives of all of our supporters who may have sadly passed away.
