Jamie Shackleton is one of the latest players in a long list to progress through the Leeds United Academy to the first team.
After featuring regularly for the Under-18s and Under-23s, Shackleton impressed for the Whites during pre-season ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
He was rewarded as he made his debut for his boyhood club against Derby County in August 2018 and made his first start against Bolton Wanderers at Elland Road three days later.
After bursting onto the scene at the beginning of the season, Shackleton cemented his place in the matchday squad and also earned himself his first call-up to the England under 20s squad.
Shackleton started seven times last season and will be hoping to kick on this season and become a regular starter.
