Youngster completes Premiership move...

Fabian Delph celebrates his goal at Brighton

Teenage midfielder Fabian Delph has completed his move to Aston Villa for an undisclosed sum.

The 19-year-old completed the formalities of his switch to the Premiership outfit on Tuesday after the two clubs confirmed on Monday that a deal had been agreed.

Fab joins Villa after a season which saw him make 50 appearances for Leeds, scoring six goals, including a stunning solo effort which sealed the game at Brighton in January, pictured.

The Bradford-born youngster also won his first England under-21 cap, last November, and ended the campaign by picking up the Players Player of the Year Award and the Young Player of the Year Award.

Fabian had made his Leeds United debut back in 2007 when he figured as a substitute in our final game in the Coca-Cola Championship, away at Derby County.

The club's then manager Dennis Wise was a huge admirer of the young midfielder and he included him on the pre-season tour of Germany in the summer of 2007.

Fab made just two substitute appearances that season, but he emerged as a regular last term, first under Gary McAllister then under Simon Grayson.

Fab leaves Leeds United with the best wishes of all connected with the club.
