A former Leeds United Academy youngster is set to feature on a new Channel Four series.

Cast Offs, which starts on Tuesday November 24 at 11.05, stars our former scholar Peter Mitchell.

Peter, from Northern Ireland, was paralysed in an horrific car accident during the summer of 2002 after spending two years with the club.

The series sees Peter play the role of Dan, a member of his local wheelchair basketball team, and it is described as "satrical, poignant, and unashamedly honest, Cast Offs blows perceptions of disability out of the water."
