Team news: Daniel Farke names XI to face Southampton

Starting line-up announced at Wembley.

Leeds United take on Southampton at Wembley Stadium in this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final, with a place in the Premier League at stake.

Ahead of the clash, Daniel Farke has named an unchanged side from the team that beat Norwich City 4-0 in the semi-final second leg at Elland Road.

Goalkeeper Illan Meslier retains the gloves for the Whites, with Archie Gray, Joe Rodon, today’s captain Ethan Ampadu and Junior Firpo completing the defensive line.

Ilia Gruev starts in midfield once more after his inventive free-kick last time out, lining up alongside Glen Kamara in the engine room.

Crysencio Summerville, Georginio Rutter, Willy Gnonto and Joel Piroe complete the attacking quartet.

One change to the bench sees Sam Byram come in for Charlie Cresswell.
