Daniel Farke: I expect a competitive side

Boss discusses Sunday's match with Millwall.

Leeds United are at home in the Sky Bet Championship on Sunday afternoon, taking on London based outfit Millwall FC.

The Whites head into the game looking to go into the international break on a positive note, with a win able to move them back into the automatic promotion positions, should they achieve it.

The Lions have been in fine form of late themselves. Since Neil Harris was reappointed as head coach, he has overseen three wins and a draw in his first four games, to move away from the wrong end of the table.

Speaking ahead of the match, Daniel Farke gave his thoughts to the media.

“They had a change in management and changed style a bit,” the manager explained.

“Neil Harris is back in charge, obviously he knows the club inside out and knows exactly what they want to stand for in terms of values and how they want to play.

“I have to say I am pretty impressed, in their last four games, 10 points, impressive away performances and results.

“It’s more or less back to their best, so it’s difficult to create chances, they are dangerous on the counter attack and especially on set-pieces.

“They are pretty good at being compact, competitive and counter-pressing, so I expect a competitive side and a side who after recent results, with nothing to lose.

“They will come with confidence and they will make it really difficult for us.

“We have to be ready for some physical battles and to find good solutions to open a really compact side, because all the other teams playing against them had trouble to create chances.”
