Leeds United can confirm Charlie Allen has joined York City on a short-term loan deal.

The Under-21s midfielder has been in fine form over recent weeks, scoring in three out of his last four games for Scott Gardner’s side, whilst also helping the Whites to reach the Premier League Cup quarter-final in his latest appearance.

Allen will now head to the Vanarama National League on a short-term loan to gain first team experience with the Minstermen, who are looking for a strong finish to the season under manager Neal Ardley.
