Daniel Farke has received the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award, following an excellent run of form for his side throughout January.

The Whites began the New Year in style with a perfect month in the league, picking up 12 points out of a possible 12 after four successive wins against Birmingham City, Cardiff City, Preston North End and Norwich City. 

The boss beat off tough competition in January, with Ian Foster (Plymouth Argyle), Russell Martin (Southampton) and Mark Robins (Coventry City) also nominated for the award. 

Ahead of Saturday’s home clash against South Yorkshire outfit Rotherham United, Farke’s side are third in league table, having secured 60 points from the 30 matches played so far. 

The team is also unbeaten in the league at Elland Road under the guidance of the German, having picked up 11 wins and four draws from the first 15 games. 

This is third time that Farke has won the award in his career. He claimed the trophy in November 2018 whilst at Norwich City and a second time with the Whites, having been rewarded in November 2023!
