October saw Crysencio Summerville produce five goals and three assists, helping Leeds jump up into third place in the Championship, and earn the winger a Player of the Month award.

Fans have been enthralled by the 22 year old's performances, with 58% voting for him over Dan James, Ethan Ampadu and Georginio, who had equally impressive months.

Chatting after being award Player of the Month for October, Summerville thanked fans, saying "It's a major boost for me and I hope I can continue playing well for the club. Leeds has the best fans and I want them to come to Elland Road, so I can hopefully create many more special moments for them."



With goals against QPR, Norwich and Huddersfield, there was one particular moment that stood out for the winger, "The comeback against Norwich. The scenes in the away end were crazy, I'm just happy that I could help the team with two goals, and then hearing my chant in the stadium, it was special."

After starting the opening game of the season against Cardiff, a groin strain kept Summerville out for the following three games, but despite the injury, the winger is happy to be back helping the side.

"I felt like I started well, then the injury came along which I was disappointed by, but I'm happy that I'm fit now, feeling better than ever to help the team."

"To every young player, what I can say is, you have to enjoy every minute when you step on the pitch. I think I'm enjoying this year more, I want to return back with Leeds United to the Premier League, it's about fighting for every ball and every point.



Summerville has also relished his partnership with Georginio, repaying the welcome he received upon stepping up to the first team, by helping the forward and others settle into life at Leeds.

"One of my friends from back home, actually played alongside Georginio at Hoffenheim, so when he arrived, I already knew of him and took him under my wing. Since then it's just clicked between us.

"His quality is unbelievable, he had a difficult time at the beginning, so I tried to help him through it, now he feels at home and our partnership is growing really well.

"Players like Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha took me under their wing when I arrived, so for me, it was only right to do the same for the likes of Georginio and Willy."
