Tartan Army set to face France and Spain

Scotland Head Coach Steve Clarke has finalised his squad for the upcoming internationals against Spain and France, with Leeds United captain Liam Cooper included.

Cooper returns to the national side after a foot injury, sustained during his goal in the opening game of the season, ruled him out for six weeks, including last month's international break.

Leeds' captain has made four appearances for the Whites, helping to keep clean sheets against Hull and Watford, whilst scoring against Cardiff.

Scotland will take on Spain in Seville in a UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier on Friday, 12 October before facing France in a friendly in Lille on Tuesday, 17 October.

Scotland remain top of Group A after maintaining a 100 per cent start with a 3-0 win over Cyprus last month.
