Preview: Leicester City vs Leeds United
Midweek Premier League action.
Jesse Marsch’s side are away from home on Thursday evening, taking on Leicester City in a match that is live on Amazon Prime Video, getting underway at 8.15pm.
The Whites travel to the King Power Stadium for this Premier League clash, looking for their first away win of the 2022/23 campaign.
Thursday’s hosts will be going all out for three pints themselves, as they currently sit bottom of the table with just the one solitary win from there opening 10 matches of the season, which was a recent four-goal thumping of locals rivals Nottingham Forest on home turf.
💬 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿: "They're better than the last placed team in the league. They're good on the ball, still scored a good number, going there, we'd be very foolish to not expect them to be ready for a big performance." pic.twitter.com/SBYxBojfnk

Leeds are without a win since an impressive display against Chelsea, which saw Marsch’s side secure a comfortable three points, after three unanswered goals. Last time out saw an equally impressive display at home to Arsenal, but a flurry of missed chances saw the game end in defeat.
Since returning to the Premier League, the Whites have played twice at the King Power Stadium, winning once (3-1 win in January 2021) and losing one (1-0 defeat in March 2022).
Still at this early stage of the campaign, a win can see instant movement across the table for all teams. Leeds could go up to 12th spot with a victory, whilst the Foxes can move off the bottom and above Forest.
The game has been selected for live television coverage on Amazon Prime Video. Alternatively, you can stay right here on leedsunited.com to follow updates throughout the 90 minutes, or listen to uninterrupted commentary on LUTV!

What has Jesse Marsch said, ahead of the match?
“They are good on the ball, they are very dangerous in transition moments, they’ve still scored good number of goals, defensively they’ve given away a bit too much.
