Liam Cooper has given his thoughts ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal at Elland Road.

The skipper is aware of the challenge he and his teammates will be facing at kick-off against the current league leaders, but he feels his side will come up with a plan and is looking forward to the game. 

“It’s going to be tough,” Cooper explained. 

“There are no easy games in the Premier League and especially when you are playing top of the league.  

“Right now, Arsenal are the best team in the league, they are up there for a reason and Mikel Arteta has got them firing on all cylinders. 

“They’re a strong team, but, when we got promoted we always said we wanted to come into this league and test ourselves against the best teams.

“Right now, it’s Arsenal, so we’re looking forward to that. They’re coming to our ground and we have got to make it difficult for them. 

“We want to try and get our style through and try to cause them a lot of problems. We’ll come up with a plan to try and hurt Arsenal, and to try and stop them in any way possible. 

“They play intense football, they’re very good on transition and that’s what we have got to build a plan around and I am sure we will.

“We’ve got a few ideas, it’s an exciting game, it’s going to be a sell out, the place will be buzzing and I can’t wait for it."
