CHARLIE’S BIG CHALLENGE A SUCCESS

Signed Football League shirts raise over £3,000 for Women’s Aid…

Sky Bet Football League fans have put a smile on TV presenter Charlie Webster’s face after they raised more than £3,500 towards Charlie’s Big Challenge.

Charlie ran over 250 miles, visiting 25 Football League clubs to raise money for Women’s Aid – the UK’s leading domestic violence charity.

Sky Bet, the title sponsor of the Football League, donated 25 signed shirts, which were auctioned off raising £3,631.

The Leeds United signed shirt, which was given to Charlie by managing director David Haigh, raised a total of £137 for Charlie’s Big Challenge.

Charlie said: “I’m incredibly grateful to Sky Bet. The money is a huge boost to the total, which has just passed £50,000!

“The challenge was incredibly gruelling and pushed me to my limit, but it was all worth it for the amount of money and awareness we have raised.”

Charlie is still accepting donations on her official Just Giving page, visit: http://www.justgiving.com/charliesbigchallenge
