Tartan Army set to face Israel and Faroe Islands
Steve Clarke has named his latest Scotland squad today, with Leeds United captain Liam Cooper once more called up for their fixtures against Israel and Faroe Islands.
Having won their last two World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Austria, Scotland currently sit second in Group F, seven points behind leaders Denmark.
Should Scotland win their two World Cup qualifiers in October, along with November's clash with Moldova, the Tartan Army will be guaranteed a play-off spot.
Cooper played in two of Scotland's three international fixtures last month, featuring in the 2-0 loss to Denmark and 1-0 win over Moldova. The Leeds United captain also turned out for Scotland at this summer's Euro 2020 tournament and will be hoping to add to his 9 international caps.
