Leeds United are pleased to announce that BBC Radio Leeds will continue its coverage of the club after signing a new two year commentary deal.

The agreement, which starts at the end of the current season, means BBC Radio Leeds will provide exclusive radio commentary of all Leeds United games, home and away, until the end of the 2021 season.

The station will provide full match coverage of every game, with commentary and interviews throughout the season.

Speaking about the announcement, Leeds United chief executive Angus Kinnear said: “BBC Radio Leeds are important to the local community and therefore it is an absolute pleasure to announce a further two year extension to our commentary agreement.

“The team at the BBC have a great relationship with the staff and supporters of Leeds United and long may that continue as we move forward into what could be an exciting couple of years.”

Sanjiv Buttoo, Editor of BBC Radio Leeds, said: "BBC Radio Leeds has had a long relationship with Leeds United and I am delighted that the excellent relationship we enjoy will continue for another two years.”
