A Leeds United Academy XI will compete in the pre-season Steel Park Cup at Corby Town this summer.

The United side will take on Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven on Saturday July 23 before facing hosts Corby on Sunday July 24, with Newcastle United also involved in the tournament.

The Steel Park Cup will take place in a league format, with each side playing twice across the weekend.

Teams will be awarded three points for a win and one for a draw, while goal difference will be the deciding factor should two sides end the competition level.

The Steel Park Cup trophy, which is currently held by Eredivisie champions PSV, will be awarded to the winning team following the weekend’s final game.

Supporters will enjoy two matches on both Saturday and Sunday, with one ticket giving access to both matches on a selected day for just £15. A discounted weekend ticket is also available for just £25 to witness the entire tournament.
