JACK HARRISON: IT WAS A SPECIAL MOMENT

Winger on Millwall draw.

Jack Harrison who netted Leeds United’s 89th minute equaliser at Millwall spoke to LUTV following the match.

Harrison superbly controlled and fired home into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box to earn Leeds a point at The Den.

It was Harrsion’s first senior goal in English football and he was pleased to be able to extend the unbeaten run of Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

“Scoring was a very special moment for myself, it is always a pleasure to help out the team in any way I can.

“I’m looking to build on it now, I know I can play better and as a team we know we can do better, but we will build on this performance and try and get a better result next time out.

“Millwall threw everything at us in the last few minutes and it was hard to keep them out, but we managed to do that, so credit to everyone and the defenders for having the characteristics to see out the game by preventing them from scoring another one.

“I think we can definitely learn from the game, but overall I think it is a good result at the same time.

“It is important to recover now, Tuesday is going to be a tough game with it being midweek after a game like Saturday’s but we have to be ready to face these challenges."
