Leeds United Foundation receive donation from JTL

Generous donation made to Girls Academy U14s.

The Leeds United Foundation are delighted to announce a generous donation from JTL who are one of the leading apprenticeship providers across England and Wales.

The organisation has chosen three community projects to donate funds to support, with the Leeds United Girls Academy Under-14s receiving the most votes from the various nominated.

JTL employees were able to nominate and vote on the winning projects, reflecting the company's commitment to supporting community initiatives, particularly those related to younger adults.

Receiving 28% of JTL’s staff votes, Leeds United Girls Academy Under-14s was ranked first out of the seven projects nominated.

The talented team of young women at Leeds United include aspiring potential apprentices and professional footballers. With JTL’s donation, expenditures around equipment, travel, and other essentials, which are currently self-funded, will be eased.

JTL will be following up with each organisation later in the year to see how the funding has contributed towards these projects.

Paul Carr, Head of Engagement at JTL, said: “JTL is committed to supporting young people in achieving their full potential. Our community sponsorship project not only empowers local young people but helps to raise awareness about the diverse career opportunities offered through apprenticeships.

“This commitment to community engagement strengthens JTL's position as a responsible and impactful organisation within the regions it serves.”
