Gallery: Community heroes enjoy time at Elland Road and Thorp Arch

Celebrating their journey with the Foundation.

Leeds United recently took part in the EFL Community Weekends campaign, celebrating local community heroes through the club's official charity.

The Leeds United Foundation chose four special participants to recognise, with each of them receiving a personalised home shirt during a visit to Thorp Arch from a first-team player along with the chance to watch the team take on Preston North End in the Sky Bet Championship at Elland Road.

Each of the chosen participants have been on their own positive journey with the Leeds United Foundation, and you can take a listen to their stories here

Some of the programmes these participants were supported through, include the Women and Girls Academy, the PL Kicks programme, Fit Fans initiative and through our educational programmes running in local primary and secondary schools.
