Tyler Roberts and Tom Pearce were two of the special guests in attendance at the Leeds Christmas Lights switch-on event on Thursday evening. 

The event took place in front of Leeds Art Gallery in the city centre and the two Leeds United youngsters were invited on stage for a Q and A as part of the entertainment leading up to the big switch-on which was followed by a special firework display.

The duo were joined on stage by none other than current IBF world champion and avid Whites supporter Josh Warrington along with comedian Micky Kerr, England rugby league star Tom Burgess and many others.

Hosted by Radio Aire breakfast show presenters Ant and Caroline the annual event, which culminates in one of the biggest displays of city centre illuminations in the UK, kicked-off at 6.45pm with fun fair rides and street food concessions on offer for the guests lining the city centre streets.

Wales international Tyler Roberts spoke about the event and the city of Leeds, saying: "It was great to come here tonight with Tom, we've both really enjoyed being a part of it and I know I would've loved coming along when I was a kid.

"Seeing so many people in Leeds come together just shows what a great city this is and fingers crossed as a team we can do them all proud this season."
