Leeds United would like to remind supporters around acting responsibly when attending fixtures, whether it is those taking place at Elland Road or those away from home.

Following incidents at recent fixtures, fans are reminded to show their support in a positive way to ensure football matches remain safe and enjoyable for everyone – supporters, staff, players, and officials. Nobody should be at risk of harm, physically or mentally, at a football match, and we want to ensure that Elland Road is a safe place for our supporters to attend.

Tough measures and sanctions are in place across all English football leagues to tackle dangerous and illegal behaviours within football grounds, and this involves but is not limited to, discriminatory behaviour, fans entering the pitch, the use of pyros and throwing objects.

The very small number of individuals who engage in these acts are reminded that identification could lead to automatic club bans and police action.

The club is united against all discriminatory abuse which includes offensive language towards the LGBTQ+ community, female supporters, against any religion as well as any form of racism.
