Sam Chambers signs professional contract

Young midfielder agrees pro terms with the club.

Leeds United are pleased to announce Sam Chambers has signed his first professional contract with the club, until the summer of 2026.

A regular in the Whites’ Under-18 side throughout the campaign, Sam has made nine appearances in the Premier League North.

He scored his first goal against Sunderland in October and has since made his debut for the Under-21s, starting the last three matches in the Premier League 2 under Scott Gardner.

The midfielder featured off the bench in United’s FA Youth Cup quarter-final success over Liverpool at Elland Road, helping the Whites reach the final four of the competition for the first time since 1998.

On the international front, the 17-year-old has been capped at youth level by Scotland.

Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Sam on signing his first professional contract and we look forward to his future progress.
